Friends of Berkeley Animal Care Services is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to raising much-needed funds to support critical programs and services at the city of Berkeley’s municipal animal shelter, Berkeley Animal Care Services.
Completely volunteer-run, Friends of BACS has no paid officers or staff. All contributions directly support animal welfare programs including educational and enrichment programs, adoptions, medical care, equipment, training and other necessities.
